Hamburg-based creation platform streamlines Social- and AMP Story production in app/software duo.

HAMBURG, 24. Juli 2018 — Cutnut, a Hamburg-based tech startup raised a business angel round of investment to further develop its vertical story editing software and connected mobile app. A key component of the investment is doubling down on development efforts — in part by hiring Joerg Tews as CTO. After previously being funded by the Next Media Accelerator and successfully completing their 6 months development program, Cutnut is now preparing the launch of its desktop-based editing software.

The product is specifically tailored towards the visualization and production of high-quality vertical story content. The main goal is to enable beginners and professionals to create vertical content with ease through the use of templates and a playful UI. Furthermore, it provides an all-in-one tool to serve both social channels (Snapchat, Instagram etc.) and websites/blogs/newsletters through AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages, by Google). With its mobile app, Cutnut also provides an easy way to collect UGC and gives the software users the fastest available channel to publish social stories.
