Registering in to our Services requires you to give us some of your basic information in order for us to distinguish you from other users. When you contact Cutnut Support or communicate with us in any other way, we’ll collect whatever information you volunteer.


1.2 Information We Get When You Use Our Services

Usage Information. We collect information about your activity through our services. For example, we may collect information about:

• Device Phonebook. Because Cutnut is all about communicating with friends, we may—with your consent—collect information from your device’s phonebook.

• Camera, Photos and Videos. You may upload videos onto our services that you have previously recorded. To do this we will require to access your camera roll.

• Information Collected by Cookies. Our website uses cookies for us to get relevant information that helps us develop our services. Such information include information about you activity, device and browser. Read more about from our Cookie Policy

• Log Information. We also collect log information when you use our website. That information includes:

• Some details how you have used our website

• device information, such as your web browser type and language

• IP address

• identifiers associated with cookies or other technologies that may uniquely identify your device or browser

4. Information You Choose to Share with Third Parties

Cutnut does not take responsibility of the privacy policies of possible third party interactions within our Services. We suggest to always review the third party privacy policies before choosing to utilize them. You agree to not hold Cutnut responsible on how third parties use and collect your information.


5. Control over Your Information

We want you to be in control of your information, so we provide you with the following tools.

• Access and Updates. We strive to let you access and update most of the personal information that we have about you. There are limits though to the requests we’ll accommodate. We may reject a request for a number of reasons, including, for example, that the request risks the privacy of other users, requires technical efforts that are disproportionate to the request, is repetitive, or is unlawful. You can access and update most of your basic account information right in the app by visiting the app’s Settings page. Because your privacy is important to us, we may ask you to verify your identity or provide additional information before we let you access or update your personal information.

•  Revoking Permissions. If you change your mind about our ongoing ability to collect information from certain sources that you have already consented to, such as your phonebook, camera, photos, or location services, you can simply revoke your consent by changing the settings on your device if your device offers those options. Of course, if you do that, certain services may lose full functionality.

•  Communicating with other users. It’s also important to us that you stay in control over whom you communicate with. That’s why we’ve built a number of tools in Settings that let you indicate, among other things, who you want to see your videos.

6. Data Protection

The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. 

The use of our website is usually possible without providing personal information. As far as on our sides personal data (for example name, address or E-Mail addresses) are raised, this takes place, as far as possible, always on voluntary basis. This data will not be disclosed to third parties without your explicit consent.

Please note that data transmission over the Internet (for example, when communicating via e-mail) may have security vulnerabilities. A complete protection of the data from access by third parties is not possible.

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored in order to process the request and in case of follow-up questions. We will not share this information without your consent.

Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies". These are text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of the use of the website by you. 11. IP Anonymization

We have activated the function IP anonymization on this website. As a result, your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area prior to transmission to the United States. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. 14. Order Data Processing

We have entered into a contract data processing agreement with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

15. Demographics in Google Analytics

This website uses the demographics feature of Google Analytics. As a result, reports can be created that contain statements on the age, gender and interests of the site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising from Google and third-party visitor data. This data can not be assigned to a specific person. You can disable this feature at any time through the ad settings in your Google Account, or generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics as outlined in the section "Opposition to Data Collection". 

16. Facebook-Plugins (Like-Button)

When you visit our pages, the plugin establishes a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server. Facebook receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. 19. SSL Encryption

This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of sensitive content, such as the requests you send to us as the site operator.
